With a good telescope, you can see pretty much anything in broad daylight.

It's all about the amount of sky you are viewing. A telescope that captures a teeny tiny part of the sky is only capturing a teeny tiny amount of blue light scattered by the sky into the telescope.

I am used to be able to see moon in the daylight and it never occurred to me that it's possible to see other planets. This photo took me by surprise.
