What? We're talking literally, here. Each step you take with your keys on you is adding more distance to your key's travel. Each trip to/from work, each trip to the grocery store, each step through the isles... Add up each foot of that travel, your keys have traveled that much further than your car. Unless you've never removed the ignition key from the column of that particular car, that key has traveled further than the car.
