There is a massive amount of energy carried by petroleum, that now has to be absorbed by power lines, transformers, and related equipment. Also the amount of power really determines the size of the lines, having fast charging will require large equipment.

EVs everywhere will make electricity very expensive. Also think to yourself, why are they shoving EVs down our throats? Just like this vax, they aren't shoving it down our throats for our advantage.

Actually not as bad as you think. Keep in mind, only around 30+% of the power stored in fuel is used by ICE. That's a ton of waste energy simply transferred to the atmosphere as waste heat.

Yes, but all that energy has to now do through power lines, transformers, and other equipment.

Think of filling your gas tank as a power transfer. Now try to match that with electrical lines, it is a lot of power. Granted EVs can be charged slowly at home, but they still need to be fast charged during travel. The nearby grid needs to be robust enough to handle the peak power transfers.

I'm not arguing about the efficiency of the vehicle, which btw diesels are nearing 40-45% efficiency even with the gov't enforced emissions equipment.

I am looking at the grand scale, moving all that energy from gasoline to the grid. 330 million gallons of gas every day is a lot of energy in joules, and that is not including diesel. All that energy will be transferred to the grid.

This will increase the cost of electricity, no doubt about it. And that is likely their goal, to make it overly expensive to even have an AC on.
