This is actually so pathetic and sappy with them you don't know whether to facepalm or faceknife.
There are a few reasons for this, the first and most obvious is that when multiple people are saying the same thing it gives me impression of social acceptance. This is a powerful propaganda technique. You see this in every cable news channel when they have five people on the screen at once.
It also has the blemishes of the person speaking, as the screen is adjusted for them and they were smaller relative to the screen.
