I always appreciate the stories as I try to give them as well, but not all women are like that (a lot are, yes). You picked up on the "we" versus "me" thing. Complete massive, selfish red flag. You should have helped your friend with that obvious signal (unless you both were young, in which case it doesn't count). Then again, if he was in love, then you become the enemy for pointing it out. E: I was seeing a really hot girl with lots of money. I took her to a friend's wedding. We were having a great time. A longtime friend that I did not hang out with for a while pulled me off to the side at some point and told me my girl is dangerous and to be wary, but he couldn't explain exactly why. I essentially told him to fuck off. He was right in the end. Oh wells!
