While very young, I was with a friend on an elevator going to the first floor. I clicked every floor button before the doors open. An adult enters as we are trying to exit, but he immediately notices what I had done, grabs both of us by the scruff, and says something like, "You are coming along for the ride."

It probably would have been smarter for him to just get off the elevator too
I think he taught me a lesson. Back in the day when non-family members were allowed to teach jerk-off kids like myself a lesson.
We need more of that.
