I'm obviously bullshitting, but this whole "make sure the volts and amps are the same" is also bullshit. I reiterate that I have never had a problem with using whatever power cord is right next to me at the moment. If I make a mistake and blow something out or start a fire, so be it. I at least will have a story instead of fretting my whole life about stupid cords.
you pretty much have to lead something like double voltage or sincerely higher amperage to pop stuff.
that said a lot of modern devices have protection circuits to cut it out if this occurs.
If you had as many varied device AC adapters like I do, you'd pop stuff more often. Most likely all of yours are from similar devices.
I have chargers for devices that were never released in the US. Obscure shit, and some of them take weirrrrrrd inputs and their powerpacks would break most of my devices (not the 220, talking 110 still)
That's why the two times I fry my equipment, I claimed racism (I'm a nigger) and got free stuff. Because y'all systemic racism. Gibs me dat!
E: No company dare go against a nigga now. We rule da roost! Holla!
E2: Actually, I just thought of something, I'm going to start sending true postal message to companies telling them to give me free shit because I'm a nigger. I fucking guarantee this will work.
I want to hate the idea, but would like to see the trial run results lol
