When I bought my first house I had to go to the realty office to give them my check to begin the closing and they had a big sign on the front desk that said something about "Please do not ask us for racial demographics or ethnic populations in available properties as it is illegal for us to provide that information"
I had a hearty chuckle at how many people must have asked for white neighborhoods or info to see how many niggers were around before they had to print out and post that sign.
It's not illegal for them to read census data to you. They're just being pussies. I don't doubt that somebody might try to make a case out of it, if they did provide that information, but it's not illegal.
Here's a nice site I like to use. Click show map labels to see towns and roads. You can spot the section 8 niggervilles easy. http://racialdotmap.demographics.coopercenter.org/
That's pretty funny because all the realtors I talked to knew exactly what the question "What's the neighborhood like?" meant, and answered accordingly, and weren't shy about it at all.
