Christians should not do the trees at all. Banned n the bible. Norse Pagans did have Yule Trees. But not Bible believing people.

That's because christmas is a stolen holiday from norse pagans. In sweden it's called jul which is pronounced pretty much the same way as yule. Odin went by many names and one of those was yule(jul)fader. Fader means father, far is another word for father. In sweden santa claus is called jultomten or tomtefar. Santa claus = Odin. Stealing christmas was just a way to make christianity more appealing for norse pagans since it was a pretty big holiday for them. For most swedes if you ask them, the two most important holidays would most likely be christmas and midsummer, both are from the vikings. Easter which is the most important holiday within christianity is not really such a big holiday here. So sweden is a christian country but culturally it's more towards norse paganism.

Sweden. A great land with a great people. I support the traditional religions of the north, which in the USA is called Asatru by some I know. How Christianity came to the north was a tragedy of many painful incursions. I'm a 'live-and-let-live' kinda guy, and all of those Semitic religions have shown their evil hand again and again. Don't need that.

Ya, no.

Evergreens were associated with life and renewal both before and after jesus's time. This in fact spans most civilizations where they are available.

Yule also embraced these types of concepts and was adopted to bring pagans into Christianity as Christianity already embraced such winter solstice celebrations. Christmas and the tree is simply an adaptation of the various people's historical cultures, revised to bring more into Christianity.

These celebrations are completely independent of Canaanite celebrations, who themselves worshipped Baal, Minerva, and Moloch. Who is their trinity, and still worshipped today.
