hilarious! so, i did some research: the evergreen corporation that owns the vessel is based in taiwan. strange. so neither the chinese nor the jEws who seem the most obvious forces to commit such crimes arent directly implied. which is a good choice for both these factions to choose exactly this Corp for their attack. there is only one hint in the history of the corporation: its first big success was to secure a trade root with "the middle east". so more likely that there are jEwish connections than chinese. yet of course thats not much, but maybe someone who can read taiwanese is more likely to find out more, especially the identity of the captain and crew. i would not be surprised if some of them get suicided.
