I had a thumb joint reconstruction and multiple concussions playing highschool football. I wasn't even that good. Can't imagine what the pros put their body through. Maybe be worth it if you are getting millions of dollars, but if you are just average and not naturally talented, get the fuck out of contact sports. You can be permanently crippled with no payoff, and for what? A fucking game!
