I was thinking it was contrived after a bit, but changed my mind after continuing. The complete disconnect in being able to make a comprehensible statement due to nervousness is too exceptionally well done. If he is a plant, he should be the next Tom Cruise and star in AAA Hollywood movies.

It could be somebody with no experience who answered a craigslist ad. Got told to go out there and disagree and we will pay you. With no experience, little guidance and not really believing what your standing for I can see this being fake. It’s definitely suspect at any rate.
Maybe take a stronger opinion one way or another next time.
