How is that not a phobia?
It's not a phobia in that its not irrational. Its completely normal to be scared or phobic of an item which has the unknown potential to kill you. Same with snakes, and small critters, who are known to carry disease
I think the analogy would be the attitude towards a daddy long legs. I know they are not going to harm me. I find their visage distasteful and I don't want to look at them so I try to get rid of them

I think we're essentially saying the same thing in different ways. Im thinking a phobia needs to be rooted in the irrational. However, he's saying that the phobia isnt a phobia because it isnt natural. Same thing, different premise
