No, he’s saying the phobia isn’t a phobia because he isn’t afraid, you’re saying it isn’t a phobia because it’s natural, or rational, to be afraid; as in being afraid of spiders. You’re saying it’s rational to be afraid of spiders so it’s not a phobia because phobias are irrational fears, correct?

It’s all good, I understood where you were coming from but also recognized that you guys were making two different points about phobias. I think both apply to homophobia. You don’t have to have a phobia of gays to be called homophobic, in the sense that you just find it grotesque and unnatural. It’s also completely natural to have a phobia of gays, because it’s something completely unnatural.
You’re both right, I was just trying to speed up the connection that you guys weren’t saying the same thing
