The kid is SEVEN. You don't disown children that haven't even finished puberty! This kid needs serious parenting to squash that psychopathic tendency that she probably inherited from her mom. Disowning her would be the worst possible thing to do.

I see what you are saying. The question is... can this kid be salvaged. I ask because NEVER have I felt the urge to behave like she did, at any age.

Of course a child that young can be salvaged. She clearly doesn't understand cause and effect (but sure as shit will after this). I never lied about ANYTHING that evil as a kid, but I sure as hell lied for attention all the time when I was under 10. It's just lucky that I didn't grow up in the digital world where such devious schemes like this kid pulled are a component of every episode of cartoon entertainment kids are consuming these days...
