A loooong, long time ago I worked with a very masculine twinkish girl. She looked like Harry Potter and this was before the books came out. This was long before faggotry and a person's sexuality was everywhere constantly. She was always talking shit to get people against each other. All she did was start problems. She comes from the arts perspective so it was interesting to see some useful commentary come from that said. She made the point that throughout history, men and women effectively lived in separate worlds together. Women worked and hung around with women, men worked and hung around with men. Women and men had different cultures, beleif systems, control system, problem resolution systems and so forth.
This is the first time in history where men and women are working side by side as co-equals.

Add to the mix some of the following pathogens in our society:
