It is a self defeating argument. If you should reject any argument that selectively rejects any group of people based on their beliefs, then you must reject the argument that’s says you must reject such people. Tolerance, if espoused is all or none. Now, tolerating evil is to support it. Tolerance is not a virtue. Rather, it is a weapon, a bludgeon, used to trick a people into destroying themselves by surrendering that which is most important to their identity.

For a race, tolerance means extermination. For a religion, it means heresy. For a nation, it is defeat. For an individual, at the very least, it means that everything that was worth preserving for hundreds of generations, comes to an end with you. Tolerance is one of the greatest sins that one can commit.

"The true paradox is that those who invoke the 'paradox of tolerance,' in order to justify repressing voices they disagree with, become themselves too dangerous to tolerate."

I couldn't figure out which sub to put this in :-/

Yep. Paradox of tolerance is just some reducto ab adsurdum bullshit. They cannot muster the intellectual capacity to explain why nazi ideology is bad and even in the original comic it uses the skinhead strawman. Then there is the specter of Hitler built from decades of brainwashing. So rather than attempt to discuss the ideology, they resort to deplatforming and censorship, as usual.

guess the ethnicity of Karl Popper

If you tolerate something you don;t like, then that thing will probably proliferate and become more and more a part of your life. If you truly don;t like something, be intolerant of it, because, as a great man named Barney Fife used to say: "You gotta nip it in the bud!"

The right one is the weakest. The left crutches hard on brainwashing, but remains effective because of that. The middle one is simple and solid. The right one looks like a strawman and lacks a decent representation of antifa and their consequences.

the left is the original; I edited it to make the other two, but was constrained by the template of the original
