Seriously though, dropping coins is a common mechanic in games. Do all or most of the monsters drop coins? If not, well... :-)

The only other monster I can think of that also drops coins is the goblin type enemies.

Everyone knows the orcs didn't earn their coins though, they took them by force. Very similar to what armed robbers do.
