I clicked on the two previously recorded highs and ALL 3 of the top BAC's ever blown were in Oregon. They must make some kick ass beer.

Edit: Oh wait, the 3rd highest was from S.Dakota, but it did mention another woman in Oregon blew a .55 - probably still in the top 10 I would bet.

From a blood sample, not even from a breathalyzer.

That poor liver.

Have you ever heard of slavic countries?

my guess there was an open container and didnt give enough time for a breath test

Article says this was measured from a blood jab, not breathalyzer.

g''''''dam then, i just skimmed through it quickly.

Except the pic is from a computer-attached breathalyzer, not a handheld unit, so that would give the guy 5-10 minutes minimum to be transported from the crash scene to the station.

If you've been drinking heavily most of your life, your body acclimatizes to that level of alcohol and can survive much higher BACs than a non-drinker.

5 to 10 minutes is not enough time for breathalyzer

Yeah because I'd imagine at that level you'd be dead. At least incapacitated.

depends on tolerance levels, but your average person yes. or at least have some organ failure

most detox wont admit you and send you straight to hospital
