I'm going with things were set up for this to happen so the spot prices on natural gas would skyrocket (which they did) and (((some people))) would make millions....fuck we the people

trust me when I say it is fucking sucking to have no power...rolling blackouts my ass...31 hrs straight is not a fucking rolling blackout

I guess some of these city leaders were playing Galaga when they should have been making exact plans for cutting back of electrical consumption...negotiating with the chambers of congress to reduce electrical consumption on high rises? fuck that crap, break down their fucking doors and hit the main breaker for the whole high rise, shut off the water and drain their system to prevent ruptures...just shut their fucking asses down hard...human life (to us, not to (((them)))) does mean something and is more important that some damned high rise

How could the'Energy Capitol' of the World, lose electric power?-We have 'wind mills',Nuke plant, massive solar reflecting fields,UNLIMITED natural gas & oil,Oh.yea,Thanks Biden the homo fag!!

WINDMILLS DO NOT WORK THAT WAY! GOOD NIGHT!

Grand Solar Minimum has been known about for... well, forever. Weather exists in cycles.

Texas having it's electrical infrastructure so heavily rely on (((wind))) was intended.

This was intended to happen. Maybe not this year. Maybe not next year, or the year after: but everyone knew it was going to happen. The infrastructure was destroyed with this in mind to push some new kikery.

while the concept of a grand solar minimum will only be proven if it actually happens at this point, your comment makes the general point that we are indeed in a solar minimum...and during this period of activity Texas has historically shown the result of having an even similar to this...1989, around 2000 (I forget the exact year, but do clearly remember some asshole deciding it would be a grand idea to turn on his garden hose and wash down the street to create an ice slide for his kids...that of course resulted in the street being impassable until things thawed), 2011, and now in 2021

point being this is just another things the powers that be didn't take into account when shutting down natural gas well heads, not winterizing sufficiently, and not even making real plans for preparedness with a known huge storm bearing down on us with plenty of advance notice

You are very stupid.

It's been "proved" for quite a while. We've known this would happen for decades. This is news to noone.

.>>You are very stupid.

while the concept of a grand solar minimum has been known for a long time, predicting one hasn't

some russian female scientist says they've cracked the math of it all and is predicting this cycle as being a grand minimum...whether or not this is true will have to play out to determine

you're a very arrogant loud mouthed nigger....turn it sideways and shove it faggot

you're falling the the MSM distractions...

skipping the conspiracy theory of this was planned to make (((some people))) rich, in a nutshell it can be brought down to this: February is always a wild card in Texas, and those in power made the decision to start shutdowns and such before this month ended, and additionally they had a good amount of warning this historic weather event was coming and from what it seems ignored that fact as opposed to spending the funds to prevent much of the current situation.

further more, changing from gas powered heaters for the natural gas line to electric was retarded.

water supply situations are pretty much unavoidable in this situation as frozen/ruptured pipes are basically unavoidable without ripping out most of the infrastructure in the state and redoing it...gasoline and food supplies are also unavoidable other than having stocked up on supplies beforehand (impossible to bring in more supplies when the trucks can't get on the road)

Sure thing nigger.

This was intentional. The weather wasn't controlled. Terrible - WILL FAIL - infrastructure was controlled.

i think only 25% of the state uses wind power idk what's going on there

Iowa uses 80% wind and they aren't having issues..

[–] 0 pt

Texas is less than 10% wind. Wind it down. Gas makes up 60% of TX energy. They're gas is 30% down

Ie: 1/3 of 6/10 = 20% of failure is from gas lines

while 10% from wind and solar

everything stops in this weather. Blame yourself for not haveing wood ready to burn.
