According to Martin L. in the comments, the guy survived and it took them several hours get him out.
These structures seem to be very weak. Looks like they could easily collapse with a light earthquake.

Any warehouse that collapses that easily isn't anywhere I'd want to work. There was definitely something wrong there, the forklift barely touched the shelving.
