Yea it's complicated but the movement coordination that's required for the Uilleann pipes is something else. With your right elbow you press the bellows to inject the air into the bag which you press with your left elbow then you have the chanter which you control with both hands and then you have the three drones which also have keys that you control with your wrist.
French horn (F and B flat) double has MANY notes with synonymous fingerings, your embouchure (your mouth/lip position) must be specifically tuned to get ALL of that right for correct note to come out, PLUS your right hand to soften/brighten the sound. PLUS the F horn doesn't sound like a dying litter of baby squirrels. Except I'm Scots/Irish. Still bag pipes was NOT an option in band.
