Conscience of it or not, strait men want to pro-create. It has nothing to do with "social constructs" and everything to do with biology. Society and civilizations are built around biological realities. Ignoring the biological realities will result in a civilization failure and death.

Very true. If I were to expand a little bit, my criteria for a matter is someone who can produce a healthy offspring and nurture them with great care. It just so happens that only straight conservative fertile females seem to be able to provide that for me.
