was a funny scene though. i remember going through basic and we had a gomer pyle. he had a few blanket parties for bring the heat down on us. we graduated along with him . when went for his trade training i was so happy to see his back as he left. heard through the grapevine that he got kicked out anyway. we had a party that night lol . best day ever as a soldier 😁
Sad part is you don't even realize that the government played you like a fiddle.
They allowed gomer to join your group knowing he would not be able to compete with the rest. He was the sacrificial whipping boy. They sacrificed him to get the rest of the group to bond and become more tight.
With politicians they sacrifice and rape kids so they all will bond together and will do what they are told. In your case they brainwashed you all to beat a fellow American. And you say it was the best day ever to see the guy you gang beat ritualistically with soap leave.
To this day you think you all did it to get him to perform better, but it was you who was tricked into performing for the state.
i joined because it was tradition in my family. had a grandfather my own father and 4 uncles who served in peacetime and wartime. i joined to protect my family first and country second. it taught me discipline duty courage and honor. and i have never regretted the 24 years i served.
And you were involved in a traditional ritual to beat one of the people you swore to protect, a fellow American, to prove to the state that you would do anything for them.
