100% with you on Quaddafi. He was dumb and trusted the West to not actually take him out. But if Saddam doesn't invade Kuwait, he's probably still in power. That's the advantage of having the 4th largest military in the world plus varying types of WMD-like weapons.

Gaddafi was not dumb. Listen to his UN speech, he knew exactly how the world works. Which means he knew the roths would come after him for creating a gold backed currency. Not sure why he did it anyway, maybe too arrogant.

You're right, but that was my point. He knew the potential consequences, but did it anyway. To me that's dumb.

I get you. I just think he was more arrogant than dumb. He thought that since Libya was the damn that kept Europe from being flooded with Africans that they wouldn't destroy him. Little did he know that was the plan all along.
