First of all, I think its important to observe that mel is a polygamist. He tricked his wife in to having. 9 kids (for catholicism) and then renegged on that inherently monogamous pact by impregnating other hos.
What is the point in reforming our society if we continue to allow polygamy in the elites or anyone else. We might as well be muslims. Why should white women give up their jobs and stay home and raise kids if they are to be relegated to Mel’s harem? Polygamy is the reason muslim countries are so violent and unstable.
6 is fine. More is frankly unhealthy. For mom and baby. Who’s going to be supervising all these kids? Who’s going to teach them calculus?

Because Mel's harem is vastly superior to almost any other position that a woman could be in? Any woman who can claim a piece of the "Mrs. Mel Gibson" action will have wealth, power, prestige, and security beyond most all measure. King David had a harem, King Solomon had a harem, so why not "King" Mel?
It seems to me that six kids is too few. FWIW I've heard the consensus that 10 kids is the maximum that any woman should be expected to push out before her body gives out, but even that could be a big ask. So Mel is faced with the dilemma of needing to make more kids while also needing to be mindful of the limitations of his wife's body. From that perspective, rotating through to other women for child birthing duty seems like both a kindness and a solution.
