You're stuck on taking it literally.
The point of the meme is that the majority of men these days are wimps. No one is going to think mayo is spicy. It doesn't have anything other than salt, lemon juice and dijon mustard as spices in it.
This doesn't mean you, or your friends are wimps. Maybe you or they are, I don't know nor do I care. It is calling attention to the fact that men are being emasculated on multiple fronts: social, psychological/conditioning, chemically through fabrics, plastics, body/hair care items, and also chemically through foods and medicines. There are five hormone disruptors just in the average laundry soap alone, how many other things stay in direct contact with your body all day long?
If you aren't aware that men were once much more masculine and had significantly higher testosterone and sperm count, how would you ever begin to suspect something is wrong?
