Theres been little introgression historically in america of black males in to the white population. Quite a bit more of the reverse. Much less than in catholic L. America though. Not trying to detract from the point, but I have brown eyes, my wife has hazel eyes. All three of our kids have blue eyes. My mother and her father have blue eyes so I know where it came from. However the theory isn't fool proof recessive genetic traits can show up.

You carry with you the refined genetic code of your entire lineage and old traits even ones that haven't been seen in multiple generations can show up in your children. The distribution and balance of certain hormones during pregnancy will also influence which dominant genes and recessive ones get "chosen" in the genetic "lottery". <simplified
It's not technically random chance or a lottery but random is just a concept humans made up to dismissively explain things that rely on so many thousands upon thousands of small pieces of information that contribute to a single result that it is impossible to process in its entirety with a human mind.

Two people with the green eye color allele (brown is a variant) will have blue-eyed children 25% of the time. What you're looking for only works with two blue-eyed parents. They cannot have children with any other color eyes.
I still think it’s possible genetics are not as simple as people seem to think. Protein folding and mutation is effected by a lot of factors. Including environment.
