Do you know the original meaning behind "Keep Calm and Carry On" posters? It literally was meant as "Shut Up and Bend Over."
The original "Keep Calm and Carry On" posters were printed but never distributed or hung. A supply of them were found in storage in modern times and the availability of many of them on the market is what lead to them becoming popular and part of modern culture. But why were they printed but never distributed or hung? What was the meaning behind this propaganda campaign?
"Keep Calm and Carry On" was the propaganda campaign that was to be launched in the event that the Germans invaded and occupied the United Kingdom. Keep calm even though there are invaders occupying your town. Carry on like a good sheep so the invaders do not single you out as an insurgent. Do not resist. do not fight back. Bend over and take it like a good little sheep.

Keep calm and carry on implicitly means, don't worry about what you can't change (like getting struck by lightning or hit by a V2). The nation is tightening its belt in unprecedented austerity measures and everyone is required to focus on work and the war effort to get through. Panicking for something out of your control does no-one any good.

A poster says "Keep Calm and Carry On" like the poster that says "Keep Calm and Carry On" but this last poster really sheds light as to the pernicious undercurrent and hidden meaning of the 'fatalist' secret agenda [QBrainFart], this one if you squint really hard just says "Keep Calm and Carry On".

Your the kind of guy that reads the poem 'The Road not Taken by Robert Frost', everyone interprets the poem as either being about regret mostly and some say its pride for thinking he deserves the road not taken, as opposed to missed opportunity. You'd probably think its about the Jewish illuminati, lizardmen, spacebase 5, beep boop, invasion of beep boop, reeeeeee.
