I hope she gets some help.

Ah, come on. She's been a meth addict since she was 15. She never went to high school because she was always too fucked up. She lies about everything, she steals anything not glued down, fucks anyone for meth, has been given vehicle after vehicle by well meaning relatives only to crash them or cash them. Always a druggie boyfriend somewhere near by and if she doesn't have one, she will find one. I gave up helping year years ago when she constantly stabbed me in the back and lied about me after I brought her furniture and groceries. She did the same to her inlaws who were heart broken. She dumped her kids off with her ex husbands adult children to care for, got my aunt to spend 30 thousand dollars on an attorney to get them back, when the first support checks for the kids came in the mail she took the checks while my aunt was at work, absconded with the kids and a car she had been given (again) and dumped the kids right back at the same house my aunt had spent time and money getting custody from. I warned my aunt it would end this way. A month later she was crying that the car had been stolen and she was back on the streets. It never ends. That's when a well meaning friend told her where I was living and I had to move once more. I had my former neighbors watch for her with strict warnings that they do not speak to her or allow her on their property. Meth addicts cause turmoil and chaos where ever they are. You CAN'T help them. Thinking you can help them is a horrible mistake.

When my aunt and my Grandmother last tried to help her I warned them off. "But if we don't help her she'll die". My response was cold and hard as flint: "Then let her die". They didn't listen and my grandmother was heart broken and shocked when it all back fired. She died a short time later. When my aunt called to complain I wanted to say, "I warned you, you didn't listen" but I didn't. I just didn't have the heart and I felt the lesson had finally taken root.

Ok, well in that case good luck. Maybe in jail they will beat some sense into her. At this point i doubt it.

I do an online search every few months just to be sure and keep tabs with people who might know of her whereabouts. Last I heard she was somewhere in Kentucky far far away. She did get released and headed east for some reason. I have no idea why, have no real interest or concern for her just so long as she is far from me.
