just saying that the us prison statistic is kind of bullshit in regards to the brutality of other criminal justice systems. duterte actively encourages murdering drug users in the phillipines, for example. tends to keep the prison population a bit low or most of the middle east where people can be stoned to death for adultery or slavery is legal. america's prisoners don't have it that bad in regards to the rest of the planet
