I have not flown since Oct 2019 and I don't plan on flying again unless I am forced to. I'll take vacation time on each end of a business trip and drive if I have to. You can get across the country in 3 days, no problem.
I haven't flown since September 2002. I prefer to drive as well. You enjoy the trip more, see more of the land.
The whole flying experience was barely tolerable before they added these new rules.
Once a year I have to go from the northeast to CA for business. I've flown the last 10 years, but I am planning on driving this year, if it even happens at all. It was virtual in 2020.
It's a lovely drive, lots of beautiful nature to see on the way!
If you plan your route correctly you can experience some nigger free communities along the way.
