We have a 15' Christmas tree in our entry hall. Father in law who has hit five deer in the last six months comes over. Never even noticed the tree as he walks by it to enter the house, later to use the restroom, and then to leave.

We now know why he hit so many deer.

I need to send him this.

That was my life a few weeks ago. Hit a deer 30 mph. Did $2500 worth of damage. Luckily they fixed it and now my Jeep has one new headlight and one old one.

I hit one last year doing twice that speed. $3.5k damage. The motherfucker shat all across the side of my truck like it was a giant tube of turdpaste. Wouldn't have even been out there if I wasn't taking a friend to work. I strongly considered taking up a culling career after that one.

My girlfriend hit a fucking cow in the road and the damn thing came through the windshield owner of the cow is a cop we didn't even get any steak hopefully the insurance company gets the pig

Is it a range area? Lot of areas around me is range land, cattle can roam free. If you hit one, you owe the cattlemen for damages, not the other way around.

I hit a dear with the company work van while fucking around where I shouldn't have been on a weekend and completely totaled the vehicle. Boss was lividly pissed, closest I've ever come to being fired. A few months later another driver hit a dear on the same road about 5 miles from my crash site. "You guys gotta quit driving country roads at night, my insurance is gonna drop the fleet" We got new insurance cards the next month. I wanna send him this so very much

I have a new truck coming in a few days. Going to get a dashcam. Ive tried reading reviews and comparisons online but nothing really sticks out as the obvious choice, and i dont much trust internet reviews anyway.

I've been happy with a cheap BlackBox branded G1W for years. I've had three (blew one out due to my error, other two in different vehicles) and they've all been solid. I only spent $20 or so on each (used/open box on eBay).
