Yes I’ve read ted k and the person who he was inspired by Jacques Ellul. He’s not really a “liberal” either dude and I hate the left right paradigm because it’s just so bad. He was an anarchist who thought the only possible way for anarchy and human freedom to exist was the destruction of technology and I believe he was kind of right. I think it’s paragraph 174 where he goes over the possible future outcomes and it looks like we are headed for domesticated humans where the elites are “soft hearted liberals.” He actually hated liberals dude, he was an anarchist who hated what he called leftists which are pretty much just neoliberals and conservators which are just neoliberal lite. Pretty much he posits that eventually tech enslaves humanity and those in power will be able to centralize power in ways never before possible. In order to live a normal life now you need a tracking device (cell phone), cars, electricity, internet and we lose our humanity. Pretty much tech used to serve humanity and now we serve tech (and those who have a monopoly on it). You should read Ellul’s “the technique” where ted got his ideas from. The only anarchists I respect are both of them because they realize with tech it’s just a stupid pipe dream.
