Silliness aside the rider actually survived this serious crash. Very fortunate for him the truck was full of trained EMTs who immediately applied life saving aid. Most riders are not so lucky as to pile into a fire truck or ambulance. But it was a hard lesson for him about target fixation and riding outside of your abilities on a public road.
