The multiverse contains an infinite number of universes and an infinite number of planes of different frequency such as the astral plane and the causal plane etc., which means that not only has time travel been invented and perfected in some of these alternate universes, but inter-dimensional travel has been mastered also. The world is in just a crazy state right now, and got there so quickly, It makes you wonder what forces could be at play. The world has always had it's share of Mayor's of crazy town people, but there has been such a dramatic increase in these wackos that you just have to scratch your head and wonder if CERN has ripped a hole in the fabric of time and space and shifted the world's paradigm of sanity. It's fun to conjecture and theorize on what happened to bring about the present mental state of society. You could say that mankind has always been somewhat unbalanced, but has there ever been a degree of sheer lunacy that is currently being demonstrated in our cities now?
CERN, or perhaps the demonic element. Adrenachrome is used for something. The most detail I've ever heard is it confers some kind of hallucinations. Hallucinations that feel like maybe there's something more than just the mind playing tricks. Like a more powerful DMT. I'm told (but haven't confirmed yet, sorry) Crowley recommended the use of adrenachrome in his works on dark magic. Suppose that substance, literally terror of innocents, opens up a communion between the consumers of it and extraplanar beings. Are these adrenachrome consumers bad people engaging in these horrible acts in order to gain the power to splice realities and usher in a new world order for selfish reasons? Or did they somehow lose their humanity when they crossed that threshold and become the skin-sacks of demons that now possess them, walking in their skin? If the latter case, one can only guess at their intentions for this world.
There are dark rites associated with the procurement of Adrenochrome that are meant to appease what ever demonic forces that satanists worship. You become what you think about, so the people who play with dark forces are by necessity imbued with the dark energies associated with the demons they worship. There are 2 paths in life one can follow, the King's way, and the Tyrant's way. One leads to enlightenment, and one to unimaginable pain and sorrow.
