The instance is Shitposter.club, it's generally an anything except CP goes instance, which Eugen doesn't like. The instance I used to run with, sealion.club and it's sister freezepeach.xyz were also banned for much the same reason.
I have an account on the original mastodon instance, I made a comment about how it was hard to follow conversations because of the blocked instances. Eugen replied they were blocked for good reasons. https://pic8.co/sh/IsyLbc.png
So it is just blocked from Mastodon.Social (the main instance), but can keep working with other instances?
For the most part, it federates with the network. A lot of Mastodon instances follow Eugen's blocklist, so it's hit and miss.
