I haven't had a magic smoke incident since I learned to never buy cheap power supplies. That is the one component I never skimp out on.

I remember when magic smoke was a joke one of my electronics teachers taught us, that I thought was unique. Until I got out into the real world and found out literally everyone knows that joke.
