Also, this is pretty big to hear since Gab joined the fediverse more recently. At this point, I'm 100% convinced that the fediverse is the future of social media networks.

It's progress in a sensible direction, at least.
I expect that it's only the first in a series of intelligent distributed systems to prevent tyrants and other criminal villains from infringing on freedom the way they so desperately want to.
