Agreed. 95% of user on Poal don't give a shit about OPSEC/communication security.

Here's a recent example: Great question about session messenger only gets 1 upvote. Because no one here really cares about security and privacy.

the powers that be are heavily invested in maintaining control of communicatoins infrastructure. there is more effort put into keeping people away from secure encryption than most other things.

Hell, we're using 30+ year old internet protocols even though better versions have been developed countless times. It's because the antiquated state of the internet infrastructure makes it more easily monitored and controlled by the elites.
