Me too, I run Linux on quite a few devices in my home, and it’ll only get to be more and more. Even my wife’s family is starting to adopt. My in laws even have a raspberry pi for their Plex setup I did for them.

Yeah I am regularly surprised how much you can do with a PI. Only complaint I guess is no support for X.265/HVEC. Looking at playing with an Odroid C2 for that.

50 bucks without the accessories. But they have eMMC storage which gives HUGE performance boost vs. sdcard / usb and gigabit ethernet.

Did a lot of reading and many said it is the best board for DIYer type. For me, I don't want libre or openelec. I want full up Linux distro with Kodi etc addon on. So I can have full root access and run stuff in the background, which you can't really do on open/libre elecs.

I've actually considered if it could be desktop replacement for basic office environment (basic browsing, office apps). Excited to get one and mess with it.
