John Enoch Powell (1912-1998) était un homme politique anglais. Il prit position contre la politique d’immigration et le multiculturalisme. En 1968, il eut le célèbre discours « Rivers of blood » (« Discours des fleuves de sang »). Powell a averti le Royaume-Uni que l’immigration était une menace pour son peuple. Le discours provoqua une vaste polémique dans la classe politique, la presse et la société britannique.
