>The French electorate is flocking to right-wing parties in the wake of the recent mass riots which enveloped the nation last week. A new Ifop poll for Sud Radio showed right-wing parties enjoying a 6 percent swing in support from voters across the country when asked for their voting intentions ahead of next year’s European parliamentary elections. The National Rally, formerly led by ex-presidential candidate Marine Le Pen and now by Jordan Bardella, topped the poll with more than a quarter (26 percent) of the vote share, up one percentage point. The liberal-conservative Republicans saw their popularity rise into double figures, up three percentage points to 11 percent, while Éric Zemmour’s Reconquête party and Debout la France (DLF) gained one percentage point each to total 7 percent and 4 percent respectively.

Yeah... Well it's better than nothing, but that's still lame

"The liberal-conservative Republicans" that's mainstream right, like republicans in the US... +3% for them doesn't really count as a win for "us"... So 26+7+4 = 37%...

With what happened imagine what it's going to take to go beyond a mere 50%

That's starting with the premise that the vast majority gives two shits about what's going in the US regarding crime

How many times do you wake up in the morning thinking about crime, in let's say, europe

Unless somebody post something making you think about it, you don't think much about it, if at all. Your immediate concern is crime in the US, in your state, your area, to be more accurate, because it's not the thugs half way across the globe that you worry about the most. Well same deal for most europeans

Considering I've heard Europeans say this more than I can count, yes, absolutely they do. They do because their lying media has constantly placed the lies into their head.

The only person making assumptions here is you.

Considering I've heard Europeans say

You've read them, not heard... That's not "Europeans", that's just an online fringe, and if it was very right wing europeans, chances are it was the fringe of the fringe in an echo chamber...

I'm not an utopian, I'm a realist, and I actually live in western europe

I honestly don't care that your feelings are hurt by the facts. The fact is, American crime rates are well publicized throughout Europe and lies are spun specifically to demonize gun ownership and moralize non-whites living among whites. You can pretend this isn't the case but I've literally never encountered a European (in person or online) who has not been indoctrinated with these lies.

Cry somewhere else. I don't care if the facts hurt your feelings. There's a reason Europeans believe America is dangerous. Now they have first hand experience as a juxtaposition as to the real reasons why. It's not guns.
