That's an american story you're telling yourself here

It's 2 cops union telling the gov "now we're tired of your shit you give us the green light to restore order, or else..."

No they aren't saying "let us do what's necessary or we will join the shitskins", you don't understand the context

They actually called the shitskins "pests"

I understand the context fully.

France's largest police union has threatened to join the resistance against the government

The resistance "are the pests" they are talking about. Give us what we want or we will help shitskins destroy the country.

How about they ignore the government and use force anyway to help their fellow citizens. Instead of threatening to destroy the citizens lives by helping the shitskins destroy everything.

you give us the green light to restore order, or else

you give us the green light

give us the green light

Soooo, in other words, the police unions are asking the government for permissions to "restore order".

Yes

Because as weird as it might sound, cops most follow legal orders and actually uphold the law, that's what their job is all about

I know, that from an american perspective, it sounds weird, but that's what the police is all about originally

And right now the gvt tells them to stand down

Why don't they ignore the government, though? Why do they need to ask a corrupt system-- which allowed this situation in the first place --for permission to fix the problem it caused?

I get that police are supposed to uphold the law. But, this sounds like a theatrical move, rather than the police unions actually intending to do something.
