Without the euro, would we all get rich? No, obviously to compete in international markets, a lot of effort and improvement is needed to compensate for the ineffectiveness of each country. If it were enough to have one’s own currency to be wealthy, it would be too good. There are many complex actions to be accomplished, such as speeding up justice, lowering taxes, helping businesses to do better, cutting red tape, increasing research, etc.
