Violence as a historical method of rupture. Does the radical left differ, according to its chapels, on its analysis of violence? In any case, several common elements can be identified.
From his point of view, violence should not be considered as an act detrimental to a good or a person, but as a necessary dynamic, a mass of energy pushed to its climax, at certain historical moments, in order to allow a break. 1789, 1793, 1848, 1871, 1917… as many successful or unsuccessful ruptures, with positive consequences or not, which have been achieved thanks to and only thanks to violence.
