If so who is he? How can anyone follow in the shadow of someone they do not know? I understand the spiritual metaphor, but this seems to describe a physical being. As an aside, you seem to be in the know on scripture and early Christian apocrypha. I came across this write-up on the nature of the universe from a modern gnostic perspective.
