never had catfish.... well i had bullhead we'd catch them lik crazy around the rivers where i grew up. bullheads are whatever you call it version of catfish..... you slice them around the skin an pull gut and pan fry...... good meat. never ate a sucker tho, you not supposed to release those here, crows eat them... they invasive around these parts plus suckers can have worms
