My second batch of ice cream going now. Making Vanilla ice cream, adding Oregon sweet cherries with no additives or preservatives and softening some white chocolate to crumble up in there.

Seems to cost me about a quarter of what the "good" stuff at the market costs. But mine has no additives, preservatives, or garbage in it.

2 Cups Heavy Cream 1 Cup Whole Milk 3/4 to 1 Cup Sugar or Maple syrup or Honey 4 to 6 Egg Yolks (Makes it "Richer") Dash of Sea Salt 2 Tsp Vanilla Extract.

Note: This is not my recipe, I found it on the internet. Except the cherries and white chocolate part, I made that shit up on the fly.

Damn it. I am going to have to buy one of these huh?

Anyone know where I can get a "old" KitchenAid pre the crap they seem to have been selling for around the last 10+ years? The second hand shops and flea markets around me are picked clean but "trendy" fucks that go to them daily to buy up all of the old stuff to sell on ebay for $1k+ or whatever.

I got mine about 8 years ago and have not had any issues with it. I think that the walmart/target models are not the same as the jcpenny/department store models. I know you'll do your own research, don't just take my word for it.
