I love feta cheese, so I had to try it today. Not the cheapest meal ever, the cost of ingredients definitely left a hole in my soul, and it's not even the cheese's fault - it's the damn cherry tomatos, I nabbed 750g (3 small boxes) which cost me around $6.5 (500rub), outrageous. And I wasn't in the mood for spending any more, so instead of olive oil I used specialty garlic oil, and it turned out great, bellissimo even. Fresh basil is very aromatic and adds so much spice to it too. I drizzled some vine vinegar as well. Instead of adding pasta into the sauce I did it the other way, since my pan isn't that tall to fit it all. It was a good call to not add a whole box of pasta (450g), because this type takes a lot of volume, and all of it mixed together was incredibly filling. This ended up being a lot tastier than mac&cheese I tried, and similarly priced too.
Cool, thank you for sharing! I'm glad that you liked it and I would always recommend making it when the tomatoes are more in season.
